Thinking of buying your own holiday home?

There are a number of things you will need and want to know when looking at purchasing your own holiday home. In this section we look to answer as many of your questions as possible. If we do not cover anything you want to know here please give us a call and we will try our best to provide you with the information you need.

How long is the season?: We are open from the 1st of March until Mid January. (Swn Y Mor has a 12 month holiday licence).

Can I visit the park out of season?: Yes you can. However, water supplies will be disconnected. Due to our park licence the caravan must not be slept in, but visitors are welcome during the daylight hours.

What services are provided?: Water, electric and main drainage are provided on the pitch. Gas is provided in cylinders.

How is Electricity charged?: The Electric meter is read at the end of each season, there is also a service charge for the supply of electricity.

How long can a caravan stay on the park?: There is a 25 year age restriction age restriction, 30 years for Swn Y Mor as long as the caravan/lodge is kept in good condition. However, caravans cannot be sold on to a third party on site after 15 years of age.

Do I have to choose a caravan from stock?: No, should your requirements not be met by any of our new or used holiday homes our agents at Salop Leisure in Shrewsbury can provide all makes and models.

Can I buy a used caravan?: Yes, we normally have used caravans for sale.

Can I bring pets?: Yes, however only the caravan owner is permitted to bring their pets on the park and they must be kept on a lead and under control.

Can I hire out my caravan?: Yes you may sub let out your caravan. The company will not sub let on your behalf. Sub letting is subject to a sub letting agreement.
